About the Position

We are seeking 2 new directors to uphold the organisation's integrity and ensure its mission remains clear and relevant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the organisation's mission is clear, appropriate and maintains relevance as circumstances change;
  • Provide guidance for setting the strategic direction of the organisation;
  • Continuously monitor programmes and activities to ensure alignment with the mission and achievement of short-term goals and long-term purpose;
  • Ensure executive performance by setting objectives and performance indicators for senior staff and regularly reviewing their performance;
  • Ensure that the organisation obtains and appropriately uses resources required to carry out its mission and sustain it;
  • Be satisfied as to the adequacy and integrity of financial and other reporting to the Board and that there are adequate systems of internal control;
  • Be satisfied that systems for identification and management of risks are robust and appropriate;
  • Comply with governance standards;
  • Possess an Australian Director Identification Number: Nominees can only be elected to the Board at the annual general meeting if they have a valid director ID.
