The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time/part time Secondary Industrial Design and Technologies (IDT) and Industrial Technologies Skills (ITS) Teacher to join our team at Chinchilla Christian College, commencingTerm 1, January 2026.

As a Secondary IDT and ITS Teacher, you will teach Year 7-10 IDT and Year 11-12 ITS. For a full time position, teaching another subject will be a requirement.

Remuneration

As a Secondary IDT and ITS Teacher, you will receive aremuneration package circa $90,379 – $129,751 plus superper annum, based on your experience level.

Qualities, Qualifications, Skills

To be successful in this role, you will havea passion for teaching IDT and ITS.

You will be required to:

  • Provide a current Christian church leader as a referee,
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, or Graduate Diploma if you hold a Bachelor in a different field,
  • Be a qualified teacher with QLD College of Teacher's Registration (QCT) or have the ability to obtain QCT registration,
  • Support the College's mission, aims and values,
  • Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum and be able to teach it from a Biblical perspective,
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities,
  • Confidently lead student learning within a productive classroom environment,
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise, and
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
