About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Night Auditor, where you will be responsible for assisting the Night Manager in cross-checking and balancing work completed during the day for all outlets on a shift basis, maintaining accurate guest accounts as well as strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

  • You will provide prompt, professional service to all guests, including handling calls, mail, messages, and valet requests.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, including Guest History updates and registration details.
  • Action diary events, flags, specials, and distribute relevant reports and handovers.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping for room status updates and manage lost property communication.
  • Complete daily worksheets, Express Check-out envelopes, and follow Night Audit tasks as required.
  • Ensure accurate account postings, cashiering balances, and proper handling of cash, credit, and paperwork.
  • Maintain security procedures, including safety deposit boxes and access protocols.
  • Process wake-up calls and respond to complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Attend training sessions and stay informed on hotel procedures and policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment (desired but not mandatory).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering excellent guest service.
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Opera Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with Ariel is a plus.
  • A high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • The ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A passion for hospitality and a dedication to Mondrian's bold and creative approach to luxury service.
