Job Description:

As a Pump Fitter/Service Technician, you will play a vital role in both workshop and field settings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Pump Overhaul and Rebuilds: Conduct thorough overhauls and rebuilds of pumps to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Diagnostics and Calibration: Diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • On-Site Visits: Visit clients' sites to assess, repair, and maintain industrial pumps and equipment, providing high-quality customer service and detailed assessment reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade certificate (e.g., Mechanical Fitter or equivalent)
  • Proven experience with pump overhauls, rebuilds, testing, and calibration
  • Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to interpret technical drawings
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle

Scope of Role:

  • Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Performing on-site assessments, repairs, and maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently
