Experience a dynamic work environment as a skilled Mechanical Engineer at our leading Mushroom growing facility. Our category-leading operation is a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge production and agricultural practices, running 6 days a week. Based in Monarto, just minutes from the freeway, you'll report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • A proactive approach to programmed maintenance
  • Daily repairs to plant and machinery
  • Identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

Other key aspects of the role include:

  • Implementing new project improvements to drive business growth
  • Maintaining optimal spares and stock levels to minimize downtime
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve minimal downtime of facility production
  • Ensuring compliance with OHS&E policies and procedures throughout daily activities

About You

You'll be a highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills, able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. With a strong customer-first approach and positive attitude, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Your trade qualification or higher, along with demonstrated prior industrial maintenance experience and current C Class Driver's Licence, will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
