We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic team at Talent Focus.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and systems.
You will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain high production standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure.
- Collaborate with production teams to address equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or maintenance.
- A competitive salary of $80,000 per annum.
