Operations Excellence Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of safe and efficient operations at a key facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily and weekly production requirements to ensure they align with customer forecasts and orders.
  • Lead the joint venture team responsible for storing and handling imported bitumen.
  • Monitor stock levels and supply chain performance, advising stakeholders on any issues that may impact supply or quality.
  • Mitigate downtime-related demurrage by implementing proactive maintenance strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
Leadership and Team Development
  • Develop staff capabilities and competencies through coaching and training.
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness in all aspects of the business.

Requirements: A tertiary education in an engineering-related field or relevant trade certification is highly desirable.
