Lead Academy Programme

We're a company at the forefront of data analytics innovation, seeking a seasoned professional to drive our training and development initiatives.

The Quantexa Academy is investing in people, delivery methods, and content to enhance customer and partner enablement and self-sufficiency.

We're looking for an experienced Team Lead to support this journey and contribute to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support certification programmes: Enable participants to obtain data engineering certifications through technical expertise, assessment marking, and online assistance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with Training and Learning Management System Administrators to optimize Academy processes.
  • Deliver expert training: Provide hands-on training to internal and external trainees in the UK and internationally.
  • Develop training content: Progressively acquire data engineering certifications and design new or update existing technical training programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for education, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and respect among trainees.
  • A strong background in hands-on technical development, with industry experience in data engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Spark, Java, Python, or similar.
  • An understanding of deploying production-level data processing batch systems.
  • Experience with modern development tooling and automation technologies.
  • A strong technical communication ability, with experience working in dynamic client environments.
