Commercial Litigation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Specialist to join our expanding disputes team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in commercial litigation to work closely with senior litigators on a wide range of matters across Queensland, New South Wales, federal jurisdictions, and various tribunals.
About the Role
- This is a full-time opportunity available in either our Brisbane or Gold Coast office.
- The ideal candidate will have more than 2 years' experience as a practicing lawyer in commercial litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and preparing reports.
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and other court documents.
- Reviewing disclosure material and preparing evidence.
- Managing client communication and updates.
- Preparing for trials, mediations, and hearings.
- Supporting senior lawyers while developing independence.
- File management, court deadlines, and diary tracking.
Requirements
- Admission in Queensland and more than 2 years' experience in commercial litigation.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- A strong sense of initiative and accountability.
- Attention to detail and sound legal reasoning.
- A collaborative, down-to-earth attitude.
