Regulatory Management Specialist

The Victorian Government seeks a skilled Regulatory Management Specialist to provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters. This role is critical in ensuring the effective delivery of registration, regulation, and intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of analysts in the delivery of registration, regulation, and intervention services.
  • Monitor the performance of regulated agencies and provide authoritative advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging issues and trends impacting regulatory objectives and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Provide leadership on planning, change management, business goals, and strategies for the Housing Registrar Management Team.
  • Develop and implement strategic projects to improve service delivery and reduce the regulatory burden on agencies.
  • Interpret policy frameworks and provide expert advice to senior stakeholders, including Ministers and industry leaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in regulatory management, with a strong understanding of relevant policies and legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
