Job Role: Environmental Regulatory Specialist

The Environmental Regulatory Specialist is a critical role responsible for ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement ESHIA and EMP plans with consultants and project teams.
  • Implement regulatory compliance and environmental management strategies.
  • Support the SHE Manager on environmental and regulatory activities and planning.
  • Secure and track project permits and approvals.
  • Integrate ESH standards into project design and execution.
  • Guide EPC contractors on environmental plan development and compliance.
  • Review and monitor environmental performance and EMP implementation.
  • Conduct site inspections and report compliance issues.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on environmental and regulatory matters.
  • Coordinate training, technical experts, and stakeholder communication.

This role requires strong knowledge of environmental and regulatory matters, as well as experience in managing complex projects. The successful candidate will have a degree in Natural or Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Social Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
