Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities for Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth aged 12 to 17 years within our community that address the enabling of positive healthy communities, school retention, employment opportunities, and positive social opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with schools and relevant community key stakeholders to implement workshops and activities that promote positive relationships and community engagement.
  • Proactively promote activities and raise the profile of the program through effective communication and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate activities that foster social connections, emotional well-being, and academic success among youth.
  • Collect and enter relevant data to monitor program effectiveness and inform future planning.
  • Provide regular progress and final reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of the program and achieve its goals.
Requirements
  • Qualified or experienced in mental health or youth work.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Working with Children positive notice (Blue Card).
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to working with Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth in a community-based setting.
