As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals improve independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing. You will work in various settings, including clinics and community locations, with flexibility to choose your hours and days.
About the RoleWe are expanding our Speech Pathology team and seeking experienced professionals who are passionate about making a difference. Successful candidates will provide support services to cover NDIS participants in the Central Coast or Newcastle area.
Our team is dedicated to providing clinically excellent and neuroaffirming practices that enhance client and staff experiences. We foster collaboration within the multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders, with regular online meetings and social events to ensure everyone feels connected and supported.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Deliver early intervention and parent coaching for children aged 0-5
- Provide assessments and implementation of AAC, literacy, and social communication strategies for school-aged children
- Work with adults on functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia, and mealtime management
- Provide neuro-affirming supports to individuals of all ages and abilities
