Job Description:

This role is responsible for coordinating and implementing fundraising and events strategies to drive engagement and financial support for UnitingSA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the fundraising and partnerships strategy to drive increased appeal and donations.
  • Coordinate inspiring campaigns and appeals to acquire new supporters and donors.
  • Manage and maintain donor and partner databases and eDM contact lists.
  • Analyse supporter, donor, corporate partner, and stakeholder data to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Manage sponsorship and partnership agreements, records, and payments.
  • Coordinate the delivery and ongoing upkeep of UnitingSA's annual internal and external events program.
  • Lead the delivery of events for significant organisational projects and key dates.

Requirements:

  • Considerable experience in a similar position in a large organisation.
  • Extensive experience in event management, fundraising acquisition, and renewal campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • CRM/database management skills and training.
  • Research, strategic analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organisational, time, and project management skills.
