Job Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Acting Middle Leader. This is an exceptional chance for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and meet the pastoral and well-being needs of students in a selected stage.
  • Collaborate with the leader of student wellbeing and the principal to ensure a cohesive approach to student care.
  • Assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.

Essential Criteria:

  • A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • A commitment to promoting and embedding the school's values in pastoral programs and practices, fostering a culture of respect and compassion.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary approaches to student well-being and management, ensuring the best possible outcomes for students.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Ability and willingness to teach Religious Education, sharing knowledge and values with students.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate qualifications for teaching, including NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
  • Level C Accreditation aligned with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong policy.
