About Apprenticeship Support Australia (Asa)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team in Tasmania, providing strategic guidance and direction to deliver high-quality services to apprentices, employers, and key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the delivery of excellent client service.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, business development, and people management. They will possess strong understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work within a program framework.

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including a mobile phone allowance, laptop, and vehicle. The successful applicant will also be provided with ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver high-quality services to apprentices, employers, and key stakeholders
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Manage and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and clients
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and performance

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry or sector
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system and its key components
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work within a program framework and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes
