Lead Healthcare Strategist

The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Lead to join their team. As a key member of the Department, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Clinical Director - Acute Medicine.
About the RoleThis full-time position offers a fixed-term contract of three years, working 76 hours per fortnight. You will be based at the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH), where you will work closely with the Clinical Director to ensure resources are utilised efficiently and services are integrated effectively.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Clinical Director - Acute Medicine
- Assist in the delivery of undergraduate general medical education programs
- Work with the Clinical Director to integrate services within the hospital/service and achieve high standards of service delivery
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
- A strong understanding of healthcare policy and practice
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
