Business Data Governance Specialist

Key responsibilities for this role include reviewing and enhancing existing documentation governing data management approaches, building and documenting a data governance framework, and developing policies and procedures for data management to support the framework. Additionally, the ideal candidate will identify opportunities and risks, recommending actions to manage and mitigate these risks. They will also define roles and responsibilities within the team.
The successful Graduate Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, review existing BI products, and recommend a development pipeline/program of work. This includes designing and documenting a regime for every new data project, encompassing governance, discovery, preparation, planning, building, publishing, and implementing.
This role requires the ability to lead the review and enhancement of documentation governing the approach and plans for managing data created, stored, and curated by the Business Intelligence team. The successful candidate will have demonstrated understanding of services required, including identification of key challenges and principles. Experience in providing similar services is essential for success in this position.
