Brooks Hire is seeking a skilled Workshop Foreman to join our Oxley branch. As the Workshop Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, handling the servicing and maintenance of our extensive earthmoving equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Team management and leadership
  • Mechanical diagnosis and repairs
  • Equipment dispatch and stock takes
  • Client coordination and communication

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plant Mechanic
  • Experience managing a team
  • Solid knowledge of Heavy Duty Equipment
  • Competence in routine maintenance procedures
  • Driver License, HR preferred
  • Forklift/High-risk work licenses desirable
  • Branch management experience desirable
  • Hands-on approach with sound computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible work hours/days
  • Ability to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test
