Senior Process Engineer Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our engineering team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering services that meet project outcomes within agreed schedules, ensuring compliance with technically acceptable standards.

They will produce design deliverables for project execution and implement best practices in plant design focused on cost-effective engineering solutions.

  • Delivering engineering services that meet project outcomes within agreed schedules.
  • Ensuring compliance with technically acceptable standards and producing high-quality engineering design deliverables for project execution.
  • Delegating responsibilities as needed while adhering to frameworks and policies.
  • Managing and coordinating the design efforts of team members to achieve satisfactory project performance outcomes.
  • Collaborating with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance and maintain the technical integrity of designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive senior-level experience in the Engineering/Construction sector with reputable companies.
  • Proven expertise in detailed design including process design basis preparation, simulations, heat and material balances, equipment sizing, and developing PFDs and P&IDs.
  • Active involvement in process safety reviews such as HAZID, HAZOP, and SIL assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of gas processing plants, LNG plants, and power generation stations.
  • Familiarity with commissioning and start-up processes is a plus.
