Director, Trade

**About the Role**: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Trade to lead our team in shaping and executing the state's trade strategy. This is a key role that plays a pivotal part in driving economic growth and raising productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
  • • Lead the development and delivery of trade programs and initiatives that support South Australian businesses to expand into global markets, strengthen international relationships and attract trade-related investment.
        • Represent South Australia in high-level trade forums and partnerships, building strong relationships with industry, state and federal government partners and overseas networks.
        • Foster collaboration with industry, state and federal government partners and overseas networks to deliver the TradeStart program, targeted grant initiatives and market access strategies.

**Requirements**: To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of international markets, trade policy and export development. You should be an experienced executive with proven capability in driving cross-sector outcomes, managing complex stakeholder environments and delivering economic impact. Your strategic mindset, exceptional influencing skills and sound judgement will enable you to represent the state with credibility and confidence on sensitive and high-value issues.
