Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Coordinator to deliver engaging, fun, and safe skate-related programs and events throughout the region.

The role involves delivering music, culture, and arts-based events and leading a youth-based creative committee in line with funding guidelines and targets.

The successful candidate will partner with the YES Youth Hub team to deliver youth events across the Shire, utilizing their leadership skills to inspire others and maximize community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging skate-related programs and events that cater to diverse age groups and interests.
  • Leverage relationships with local stakeholders to promote program participation and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of program attendance, feedback, and evaluation results.
  • Collaborate with the YES Youth Hub team to develop and implement effective event strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups to foster partnerships and support program delivery.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Community Development, Youth Work, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
  • Proven experience working with youth, either in a paid or volunteer capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
