Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Lead to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes. This will involve establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, and a proven track record of success in a similar role within the FMCG industry. You will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you will have the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's direct-to-market approach and long-term goals.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Design and manage in-house logistics operations, including warehousing and transportation, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, optimizing stock levels, reducing waste, and ensuring product availability.
  • Collaborate with sales and production teams to create accurate demand forecasts and production schedules, balancing customer demand with supply chain capabilities.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements across supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, fluctuations in demand, and regulatory changes.
