
Contract Administrator Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our project team for an exciting new energy project.
This role will be based at the corporate office site with regular visits required to the construction site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering a range of construction and services contracts in place to successfully support the execution of the Silver City Project.
- Administer construction and services contracts in accordance with project plans and company requirements.
- Support the Contracts Manager in managing contractor performance, claims, and risk.
- Coordinate with the site teams, including construction, interface management, engineering, planning, HSE, and quality, to ensure contract deliverables are met safely and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate contract records and contract data systems.
- Administer nominated packages including notices, variations, site instructions and extensions of time.
- Oversee the processing of all Contract progress claims through to Payment Certificate and payments.
- Support the Project Services teams to validate cost and schedule forecasting and reporting for end-of-month reporting and client reports.
- Support the Project Services team with all claim reviews, including milestone and / or value earned assessments.
- Lead contractor progress meetings representing Company's interests.
- Act as first point of contact for any contract disputes and liaise with legal representatives on contractual matters/disputes and negotiations.
- Pro-active training to PMC team on the Contracts under your administration.
- Timely closeout of contracts.
- Tertiary qualification in supply chain, law, business administration, quantity surveying/construction management or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. RIQS accreditation highly regarded.
- Demonstrated leadership in contract formulation and extensive contracts administration experience in executing major projects in a PMC organization, preferably in the construction / energy sector with sound business ethics and consistency with Worley's Values is essential.
- Strong understanding of contract terms, negotiation, and claims management.
- Proficiency in procurement and project systems.
