Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scheduler to join our Downer Professional Services team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future.

This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, including:

  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing project schedules to support project objectives;
  • Preparing and delivering accurate schedule reports, forecasts, and analysis;
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure schedules reflect current project status;
  • Providing project governance support and participating in key project workshops;
  • Identifying and addressing gaps or opportunities to improve scheduling and reporting;
  • Supporting broader Project Controls activities as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth;
  • Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm or the Defence industry;
  • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
