Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Partner to collaborate closely with the Head of Information Technology and establish forward-thinking development directions that align with our IT strategy.

This strategic role will involve providing guidance to the business unit, focusing attention on key solutions and IT applications that support business requirements and drive digital transformation.

  • Develop long-term strategic plans (3-5 years) aligned to our IT Strategic Plans
  • Translate business strategies into actionable IT roadmaps
  • Prioritize and manage IT demands
  • Represent IT interests within the Manufacturing business unit

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a highly experienced Business Development Partner with a proven track record in managing complex customer relationships with a technology focus.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a business-related or IT discipline
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Working knowledge of SAP S4/Hana
  • Certified Certification (Foundation) in ITIL
  • Knowledge of emerging technology trends, IT functions, and relevant business solutions applications
  • In-depth knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps and translate business strategy into program plans
  • Strong partnership-building skills with key stakeholders
  • Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
  • Understanding of project and demand management methodologies
  • Strong Service Management experience (preferably in a managed service environment)
  • Effective collaboration and influencing skills to drive directives established by IT governance
