Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the processing of salmon by-products, maintaining equipment, and supporting efficient plant operations in Tasmania.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the processing of salmon by-products, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks, including pressure washing and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct quality checks and follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to maintain high product standards.
  • Operate machinery and assist with general plant operations as required to meet production targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily production goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Forklift license (or willingness to obtain one) – training can be provided to support development.
  • Valid driver's licence for reliable travel to and from work.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn – no prior experience required, full training provided to ensure success.
