Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Planning Lead to join the Corporate Planning division. This is a critical role in leading the development, coordination and execution of business strategy across all functions.

About the Role

  • Drive strategic planning initiatives for the organization, collaborating with key stakeholders from Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance areas to drive process improvement.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to document operational and financial changes from the prior period's approved plan for the business.
  • Ensure key issues are identified, discussed and resolved through the strategic planning process to ensure the organization meets its financial and non-financial targets.
  • Analyse alternate proposals with financial implications to come up with the latest view and recommendations of the business' operation plan via the leadership team.
  • Lead transformational improvements within the organization, implementing and utilizing systems, tools and enablers to create a competitive advantage and operational efficiency for the business.

Requirements

  • You have a proven background in a large scale, matrixed organisation with strong working knowledge of the industry and experience in strategic planning.
  • You possess excellent leadership capabilities, including communication, influencing, customer focus and business acumen.
  • You have strong dealing with ambiguity and problem solving skills, as well as strong financial acumen and ability to assess financial implications of decisions and recommendations.
