
Strategic Events Leadership Position

The Events Customer Solutions Team Leader plays a critical role in leading the Customer Solutions Team and supporting sales and account management functions.
This involves delivering and supporting the team to create accurate, efficient, creative, innovative and aspirational programs that enhance customer satisfaction and maximise conversion of events, group travel and venue finder opportunities.
As a leader, you will motivate the team by delegating tasks, providing coaching, fostering collaboration and driving accountability to achieve organisational goals.
You will also contribute to the customer solutions strategy, develop client and supplier relationships and ensure successful delivery of RFPs and quotations including research, accurate and compelling content.
In addition, you will support proposal build stages and budget creation, engage with suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
About You:
- Experience in the events industry or group travel industry in operations and account management
- A desire to move into a key leadership role
- Sound knowledge of procurement, product and market trends and negotiating skills
- Technical proficiency with CRM and data analysis
- High proficiency in MS Office
