Delivering Exceptional Patient Care
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing high-quality patient care in a structured healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work in a well-organized primary care clinic with a predictable clinical pace.
- Conduct triage assessments during walk-in hours, including patient histories, vital signs, physical exams, and vision testing.
- Deliver direct nursing care using evidence-based practices, such as wound care, injections, IV therapy, respiratory support, and specimen collection.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and within your scope of practice; monitor and document therapeutic responses.
- Identify abnormal findings and escalate concerns to physicians or other healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist physicians during minor surgical interventions.
- Provide patient education related to clinical procedures, pre- and post-operative care, and health promotion.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as responding to patient inquiries and documenting care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
