The role of Pharmacy Assistant is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our pharmacy.

About the Position
  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with customer needs and support the dispensing team.
  • Responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, well-stocked, welcoming environment, working closely with pharmacists and other team members in a collaborative setting that values customer care, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Process sales and handle point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  3. Assist in preparing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  4. Maintain stock levels by unpacking orders, restocking shelves, and rotating stock.
  5. Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  6. Answer general customer queries and refer clinical questions to the pharmacist.
  7. Support administrative tasks such as labelling, filing, and stocktaking.
  8. Promote pharmacy products and services in line with customer needs.
