Ecologist for Climate Change Mitigation and Conservation

This opportunity allows you to gain valuable experience and connections in the field of climate change mitigation and conservation.
You will work with experienced professionals in forest conservation, agroforestry, agronomy, community development, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable farming.
The goal is to support on-going projects that promote local farm diversity, environmental education, and climate change resilience.
Experience Amazonian cultures and their connection to ethnobotany, agroforestry, and plant medicine.
You will participate in reforestation projects, accompany locals into agroforestry farms, and engage in planting, weeding, and harvesting activities.
Additionally, you will have opportunities to support eco-tourism projects and go on hikes into protected forests.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with experts in forest conservation, agroforestry, and sustainable farming.
- Leverage your skills to support projects promoting local farm diversity and environmental education.
