Our Digital Product & Technology team is responsible for delivering fan-facing mobile experiences across our digital platforms, with a strong focus on the mobile app product and strategy.

You will shape, deliver, and evolve fan experiences across the AFL's mobile app suite, while collaborating on cross-platform initiatives to ensure fans are connected to the game anytime, anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing features and initiatives to encourage regular app usage, increase session time, strengthen connection to the game, and deliver monetization opportunities aligned with commercial objectives
  • Enhancing features that drive logged-in user engagement, creating compelling value proposition for registered users, leveraging personalization strategies to deliver tailored experiences and relevant content to encourage sign-in and retention
  • Analysing data to understand behavioural patterns and track funnel performance to inform product optimization

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Android and iOS ecosystems, including platform-specific UX considerations and native app capabilities
  • Skilled in mobile product management, with experience delivering large-scale consumer-facing apps
  • Commercial mindset, understanding how to balance monetisation strategies with great user experiences
  • Experience with personalisation tools or strategies, understanding how tailored content and experiences can improve engagement and retention
  • Passionate about building best-in-class fan experiences on mobile platforms
