Housekeeping Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our hotel.

Job Description:

  • Motivate and lead your housekeeping team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Manage all operational and financial outcomes for the department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Organize and allocate rooms for the rostered team members on shift, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure chemical safety and Workplace Health & Safety standards and practices are maintained, providing a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Exceed guest expectations by providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to guest needs.
  • Work autonomously, building strong relationships with all departments and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Maintain accurate records of training and cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior housekeeping role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train your team.
  • Flexibility to work over a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays, with a minimum of four days per week.
  • A genuine care for your team and guests, with an understanding of individual strengths and needs.
