Leading Retail StrategistAbout the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a national retail network and drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering financial results.

  • Set and execute short, medium, and long-term retail strategies to optimise current assets and grow future markets.
  • Drive profitability across fuel and convenience channels, while improving underperforming sites and expanding the company-owned network.
  • Lead supplier negotiations and partnerships to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Build and maintain compliance with safety, legal, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective retail management practices to drive business outcomes.
  • Align operations, merchandising, and property functions to deliver results.
  • Identify and implement training and development opportunities to strengthen capability and foster career growth.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across the business unit.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years' experience managing a physical retail sales network, preferably in fuel retail.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary retail operations, concepts, and trends.
