Skilled Cook Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic cook to join our team as a key member of the kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and presentation in their daily work.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, with special attention to the correct handling of raw proteins.
  • Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Verifying that prepared food meets safety, quality, and quantity requirements.
  • Cooking and packaging batches of food including eggs, sausages, bacon, hamburgers, chicken, fish, french fries, and onion rings.
  • Preparing foods following specific methods that typically require short preparation times.
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and deep-fat fryers.
  • Reading food order monitors or receiving verbal instructions to prepare and cook food according to guest requirements.
  • Measuring ingredients required for specific food items.
  • Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations.
  • Cooking the exact number of items ordered by customers, managing multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Washing, cutting, and preparing foods for cooking or final assembly.
  • Coordinating activities and equipment use with managers, based on daily volume to optimize cooking times.
  • Receiving and managing delivery of supplies.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members.
