Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings Services team in WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects, leveraging your technical expertise and project management skills.

  • This position involves performing general electrical engineering tasks, including design calculations, data analysis, and software use for engineering design.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and writing technical reports, undertaking field testing or site-based investigations, compiling data, and assisting with analysis and evaluation.
  • The successful candidate will also coordinate site or field technical activities, including analytical setup and managing subcontractors.
  • In addition, you will consult with design stakeholders to ensure best-for-project outcomes and explain technical information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field, and eligible for / has Chartered Status with Engineers Australia.
  • Strong knowledge and application of Engineering principles, and high aptitude for planning and design.
  • Good understanding of applicable standards and guidelines.
  • Strong technical writing, data analysis, and interpretation skills.
  • A valid driver's license and eligibility for Defence Security Clearance.
  • Sound knowledge of Autodesk, Revit, BIM, PowerCad, AGi32, DIALux, Microsoft Office Suite, Australian Standards, NCC.
