Senior Electrical Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality electrical solutions for various projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse multi-disciplinary projects, including those related to battery minerals and plant optimisation. You will have the chance to collaborate with experienced engineers and contribute to the development of innovative electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical design specifications, detailed designs, and work packs/scopes of work.
  • Provide construction and commissioning support, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site investigations, scoping, and contractor management tasks.
  • Maintain project documentation, including reports and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience as an Engineer in Australia.
  • Experience in heavy industry electrical and instrumentation design, including reviewing and marking up technical drawings.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams, overseeing junior engineers and designers.
  • Expertise in relevant Australian Standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with functional safety lifecycle documentations.
  • Experience conducting early-stage studies for electrical systems.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Registered/Chartered Engineer status, with RPEQ preferable.
  • Knowledge and experience working with heavy industry clients in the minerals processing sector.
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation (HAZOP).
  • Project management skills.
