Lead Aged Care Nursing Team

  • Seeking an experienced aged care nurse to lead our care team.
  • You will advise and assist care staff to provide high-quality care tailored to residents' needs.
  • The role involves ensuring high-quality care delivery, supervising other care employees, and building partnerships with each resident.
  • Work within a supporting team to coordinate and deliver complex clinical care, enter reports and observations on iCare.

Nursing Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring quality care for residents.
  • Supervising and assisting other care employees.
  • Building and fostering partnerships with residents.
  • Coordinating care delivery in a supporting team environment.
  • Providing complex clinical care, including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments, and referrals.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse DIV 1 - AHPRA Registered.
  • 2+ years of experience in aged care (desired).
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of iCare (desired).
  • Understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Accreditation, and ANACC (highly regarded).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid police check clearance.
  • Eligible to work in Australia.
