Mater Health Services has casual positions available for Operational Officers – Room Service Representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking patient meal orders by phone or at bedside, ensuring patient safety guidelines and customer service standards are met.
- Familiarity with the Room Service menu and ability to promote items.
- Explaining menu options and adhering to guidelines for patients with therapeutic diet requirements.
- Performing administrative tasks, troubleshooting enquiries and liaising with Clinical staff.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to go above and beyond.
- High level of communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Confidence using computers and technology, including Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills.
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
