Public Safety Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly respected and accomplished individual to lead our law enforcement agency as Chief of Police.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily patrol operations, investigate crimes, manage support services, provide training, engage with the community, and implement crime prevention strategies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and community trust within the department.
  • Develop and manage the department's resources to align with city goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a visible and accessible figure in the community, participating in civic events and building relationships with regional law enforcement agencies and community partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, public administration, or a related field.
  • Ten years of experience in law enforcement with increasing responsibility; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree and successful completion of a law enforcement executive development course preferred.
