Cleaning Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and kind-hearted individual to join our team at St Anne's Hunters Hill, a residential aged care home.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents rooms. They will also support their peers and maintain a co-operative team spirit, while working in a safe manner to protect themselves, their colleagues and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the home, including resident rooms and common spaces, are clean and tidy.
  • Support your peers to maintain a positive and respectful team culture.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What We Look For:

  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner, an advantage.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
