Job Title: Audit and Recognition Leader
About This RoleWe are seeking a skilled professional to lead our assessment team in providing quality services and meeting service targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, including allocating resources, managing incoming work, communicating with staff and stakeholders, and completing reports and auditing outputs.
The role involves leading a team of senior assessors, assessors, and recognition support officers to deliver high-quality services and ensure they meet functional responsibilities. The successful candidate will also provide escalation and advice on applications, considering and determining complex applications as per established policy, guidelines, and procedures.
About the TeamThe Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) is committed to delivering an inclusive, trauma-informed, and victim-focused service. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to this commitment by providing exceptional leadership and management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of senior assessors, assessors, and recognition support officers to deliver quality services and meet service targets
- Manage daily operations, including allocating resources, managing incoming work, and communicating with staff and stakeholders
- Provide escalation and advice on applications, considering and determining complex applications as per established policy, guidelines, and procedures

- Extensive experience in team management, decision-making, and diplomacy
- A strong ability to provide accurate, clear, and comprehensive decisions within defined time frames
