Internal Audit Role

We're seeking an experienced audit professional to drive high-impact internal audits and align with our strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will plan and conduct internal audits according to our Internal Audit and Assurance Plan and Charter, maintaining procedures in line with best practices established by the Institute of Internal Auditors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and conducting internal audits to identify and mitigate risks
  • Maintaining internal audit procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards
  • Developing tailored scopes and approaches for audit engagements
  • Supporting compliance assurance and broader assurance work
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality audit and assurance reports to senior management

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in an audit or assurance role
  • A background in a regulated industry and understanding of the sector
  • Relevant qualifications or active pursuit of them, along with membership in a professional body
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A well-organised and detail-oriented approach to work
