The Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Officer to join our Contact Centre Operations team, supporting mortgage customers in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will provide best-in-class customer service, helping borrowers navigate financial challenges with empathy and tact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored forbearance solutions and help borrowers manage their accounts effectively.
  • Engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Work closely with borrowers to develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to all risk and compliance obligations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in collections or customer service within a contact centre environment.
  • A good understanding of credit and hardship assessment principles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive attitude toward risk management and compliance.

We provide a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, plus benefits such as discretionary bonuses, paid parental leave, and a hybrid work environment.
