About the School
Quinalow State School is located in the Rosalie Shire, near the picturesque Bunya Mountains. The school serves a small rural community with approximately 300 residents. Originally part of Rosalie Plains Station, Quinalow was once home to the famous racehorse Bernborough.

Our History
The first provisional school at Quinalow opened in February 1901. Later extended to include secondary education up to year 10 in 1965.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality swimming instruction for students of various ages and abilities.
  • Provide individual and group training while adhering to workplace health and safety standards.
  • Evaluate student competency levels and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Supervise students during swimming lessons to ensure safe usage of the pool.
  • Offer basic first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation as required.
  • Maintain adherence to workplace health and safety legislation and offer safety advice when necessary.
  • Report security concerns, damage, or safety issues to the Principal or designated delegate.
