We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd. As a key member of our educational leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning and development of our children.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
- Guide, mentor, and provide direction to other educators in the room or setting.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to promote a collaborative environment and achieve educational goals.
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent as recognized by ACECQA).
- A current and valid check that confirms the candidate's suitability to work with children.
- First Aid certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
- In-depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a Lead Educator, Room Leader, or similar role in an early childhood setting.
- Ability to create an environment where all children, including those with additional needs, can thrive and learn.
- Ability to work in partnership with other educators, support staff, and external professionals to enhance children's learning and wellbeing.
