Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Support Worker. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities by providing support and assistance in their daily lives.

As a Direct Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Supporting individuals with mobility issues
  • Engaging in community activities and outings

You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that each individual receives the highest level of care and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities)
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
  • A Driver's License and Vehicle

Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
