Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide individualized care and assistance to people with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying levels of need, including showering, toileting, dressing, and other daily activities.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transfer individuals using hoists and slide sheets.
  • Perform domestic duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Facilitate community engagement, including attending appointments, grocery shopping, and participating in social and recreational activities.
Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a calm and confident demeanor in all environments.
  • A valid Blue Card (Working with Children Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Check (formerly Yellow Card).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • A smartphone with iOS 13.0 or later or Android 6.0 or later operating system.
