Part-time Financial Controller Role

A global manufacturing company is seeking a part-time Financial Controller to join its team.

The initial contract will be for 3 months, with the option to extend or make permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate's preference will determine whether they work 3 or 4 days per week.

Main responsibilities include overseeing full-cycle accounting, leading the finance team, and supporting production operations.

Key tasks include preparing and submitting statutory reports, compiling budgets, managing treasury functions, and supervising administrative activities.

The Financial Controller will report to both the Group CFO and the local Managing Director or appointed representative.

They will also contribute to corporate planning and policy development as part of the management team.

Requirements:
  • Strong ability to perform hands-on accounting tasks and conduct financial analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing full-scope accounting operations in a small business.
  • Solid background in inventory management and cost-centre accounting.
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards and experience in externally audited or publicly listed companies.
  • Certified accountant with a track record of delivering accurate financial information on time.
